EARLY VINTAGE NAVAJO NATIVE AMERICAN STERLING SILVER NATURAL TURQUOISE RING Sz6+

  

On offer is an authentic, early vintage NAVAJO hand wrought. 925 sterling silver ring adorned with six (6) beautiful natural hand-cut and polished southwestern desert blue and aged green cabochon turquoise stones on a blackened ground accented with eight (8) raindrop beads. This ring is not hallmarked which was quite common in earlier Native American jewelry. We believe this ring was created circa 1940 or perhaps earlier. This classic ring was skillfully crafted with attention to detail in the NAVAJO tradition and is in very good vintage condition (please see ALL photos for an accurate detailed depiction).

The six (6) hand-cut and polished southwestern desert blue and aged green natural shaped turquoise cabochon stones are in all in very good condition with no significant chips or cracks and are firmly and securely set in smooth silver bezels. The stones each measure from approx. Overall, the ring plaque measures approx. 1 1/4" long x 3/4" wide.

Ring has a split shank that is approx. 1/4" tapering to 1/8" wide. Size 6.5 and weighs 10.4 grams.

925 sterling silver and southwestern blue and aged green turquoise ring would make a classic addition to any Twentieth Century Native American Silver and Stone Jewelry, Southwestern American Turquoise, or Historic Cultural Arts and Crafts collection.
