Rare to find in this great condition. Measures 52 inches by 73 inches.
Note the distinctive patterns common to this blanket and the Bonhams one: five sets of bands, each set includes same sequencing of one white and then two colored bands, each individual band encased by a dark brown band; repeat. Hopi blanket makers traditionally men, as opposed to Navajo women favored dark brown warps, as opposed to Navajo favoring white. There's an authenticity i appreciate about Hopi weavings, as they were primarily for tribal use as opposed to tourist trade. The variagation and soothing feel of this blanket make it dang near irresistible to handle.
